OK, great. Tell us your starting proceedure. Here's what works good for us --

1- Pump the bulb. This pressurizes the fuel delivery syatem.

2- Turn the key to "On" - Do not engage the starter.

3- Push the key in to activate the primer solenoid for an 8 count. This releases the fuel under pressure into the intake.

4- Turn the key to the "Start" position. It should start almost instantly.

You may have to tap the primer as it warms up. Do not shift it until it comes out of Quick Start.

Your reccomendations worked like a charm, all is perfect. Cant begin to thank you enough. You would think they would put this in their starting procedure manual, how many others have the same problem? Once again, I appreciate your time.

One stupid question, whan you turn the key to start do you keep the key pushed in or just for 8 sec and then relese it and turn ?

I ask because I was having the sme problem :)
but went from priming ball to push in key and turn to start with primer pressed in.

I usually keep it pushed in while I turn to START, and crank. As Dhadley said Prime the bulb good an hard, then hold primer in for 8 count, then start while continuing to push in. Don't use the fast idle lever to advance the timing, Quickstart will do that for you. If it runs a little rough after it starts, bump the key in a couple of times.
