2004 90 E-Tec Opinions

There is a 2004 Sea Hunt 175 Escape DC advertised with a 2004 90 Etec on it; does anyone have any input about whether this was a good or a bad year for etec.

I don't think BRP has made a bad model year E-Tec . I had a pair of 07 175's I bought new, just sold the boat and never had any problem with either motor. Generally, E-Tecs have been great and are really good on gas. I've owned a lot of motors over hte years and the E-tecs were the best I've ever owned.

I agree. Great motors, any year.

I've got a friend who has a 2004 90 hp E-Tec and he has had no probs with it. Just normal service.

Thanks for your reply...I know nothing is perfect but I have heard a great deal of great things about E-Tec. I feel better reading your comments.
