I'm trying to help my uncle sell this boat. Any ideas or suggestions on where to look or advertise? Any interest on here, is there a classified section?

When I was looking to find mine, the best place for me to look was Craigslist. Make sure you post in several towns close to your own.

There is an iboats classified section. It's not free, but as I recall it's very reasonable. If the boat's really nice and located within easy driving distance of major metro areas it might be worth it. Otherwise, stick with Craigslist and your local paper. I've always had good luck buying and selling on Craigslist. You deal with some nuts, but there are plenty of real buyers and sellers on there every day.

My last two boats were bought by looking on boatraderonline.com and I have sold three boats on that site.

Craigslist is free, so I would try that first for a week or so.

Bear in mind that this is the end of the boating season in a terrible economy so price accordingly.
