2002 200hpEvinrude 2 stroke

I am thinking about buying a 2002 24 foot Wellcraft which really looks nice. The only thing holding me back is the 2002 (Ficht?) 200 hp Evinrude 2 stroke with as of last October 226 hours on it and has good compression. This is probably made by Bombardier, but my worry is the ficht thing and older electronics. What say you about these engines?

Most places will not work on anything 20 years old.
