2002 200hp ficht software help

So I bought software for my 2002 200hp ficht, got it from eBay and it is bad. Had to take it to my computer geek at wrk to download it. Anyway I know nothing about this software, don't even know where to plug it in on the motor. Can someone please show me.

As far as I know that software needs a dealer number to function. However, as it is old maybe not.

The fact that you don't know where to plug it in, how to download or install it leads me to believe that you wouldn't know how to decipher more than the basic functions of that software. Why not just pay a dealer an hour labor to plug it and read it for you? You probably have more than that in it now, just trying to get it to work.

You may also need an adapter along with the cable to hook it to your laptop. As said above, take it to a dlr.

To answer your question, the connection for the cable is on the stb side up near the computer. Up there you'll find a 3 wire plug and 1 wire socket to ground (black wire) connected together. You'll need to open this connector then plug in the cable going to your computer to the open end with the 3 wires.
As for the registration, just make something up. The software doesn't care.
