Looks like your building another nice fishing machine. You all do nice work redesigning the decks on these boats. I like the way you set up the rear casting deck on these little tin boats, and I'm still planning on something similar for our SS in the future. Nice work as usual. :encouragement:

Hey Glen, we're getting there, we will have 2 boats for sale this spring, my sons 16ss and I'm still not sure if I will keep the starfire 17 or my 19 starfire, in a way I'd like t keep the 17 ft takes less space in my yard But I'm not sure if I will like the loss of space on the insideof the boat, but I'll decide when it;s finished.

Coming along very nicely. Looking good. As far as deciding which to keep......although it may only be a couple feet larger that couple feet really make a difference for me in terms of comfort (room) and stability in rough water conditions.

Willy's right John I have never hear of anyone getting -2footitis, there is no way I could go back to a 16 SS. Carpet work is great.

Yes I think you're both right, the 17 foot seems pretty big but if I were to compare them both side by side I'd most likrly pick the 19.
