Thanks JB, Willy I'm going to totally redo the interior new carpet and new vinyl floor and some new hardware and seats, yes Glen I was pretty bored, found this on cl in Minneapolis got a pretty good price 6000.00 US the po was asking 7700.00, the exchange rate made it 6980.00, and maybe another 700.00 at the border. not sure what I'm going to do with this boat keep it or flip it in the spring

Hey John - How many tinnies have you redone? Seems like you always have one or two in the fire. And great results. Always!

Started the teardown the further we the worse it looks, so far it's going to need a new floor at the least prob the blow in foam as well.

Wow that's pretty bad for a boat that is only 13 years old, can't imagine it being 23. She must have seen a lot of time outside and uncovered.

You guys must have this down to a science by now right. I'm like dozer she needs allot of work for a 13 year old. Just one more example of how no protection can destroy an otherwise good investment. Oh well more tin for us right. I'll be tagging along for what I'm sure will be another stellar job by you guys.:pop2:

You're both right, I think it probably sat with water up to the floor boards most of it's life, going to try and get the rest of the floor out today then we'll know the total story. starting to think I didn't get such a good deal.

If you decide to flip her, link back to this thread so any potential buyers can see what you had to work with and how you turned her around to better than new. I have to think she'll be better than new because that's how you do it, John. :thumb:

That will work. I think Sig had a link to his resto thread in his Craig's List ad to show what all was done.

No offense but none of that looks easy. Moving right along though, and that's good. Wish I could get my honey do list completed so I can get back on my Stratos. Or start on a casting deck for my 16SS.
