Trying to test the overheat and oil alarm on this motor....anyone remember the procedure? I have a factor manual on the way.
the white wire is for the quickstart (auto-advance at startup like a car) so you arent fiddling with the throttle and causing piston damage by revving it to the moon like so many operators did and still do. you do not ground the temp sender wire! you ground the tan wire that plugs into the temp sender and flick the key to ON position! if it doesnt sound, replace or repair horn.Yeah, did that and nothing. Overheat has two wires, brown and a white wire.
i think understanding the way something really works helps a lot. but sounds like you don't have quickstartMore info than needed but thanks none the less.

that's a beauty for sure! whats the story on it?Google not allowing me to download.....but motor is good. 5500 RPMs with 3 in the boat and trimmed up. All warning horns working and motor is performing perfectly. It all came back to me once I dug into it more.
Working on this beautiful GT 100 now.
Thanks.
Googles mad at me because it wants some clams! (Money)stange I have no problems to download maybe try a print to a PDF file if you need it
