2000 238 Vista ac install

I am looking to install a marine ac unit on a 2000 238 vista for better confort. Has anyone done this on this boat that shed some light as to where yo place the ac unit. I will be doing the install in the near future but before i go ahead and start tearing things apart i would like to get my bearings straight. The unit that i am looking to purchase sould be between 4500 to 6000 btu. From what i read its more than enough for that cabin.

Usually the folks at Four Winns are pretty nice and helpful enough that I believe maybe if you called them with your hull ID number, someone (the right person) might be able to email you over some type of service literature diagrams of what/how/where they may had installed the AC system on that model boat as their in house paperwork trail is pretty good in years passed… Maybe start with the parts department as it’s just a phone call or maybe even an online request will work.., Worth a try at the very least anyways … https://www.fourwinns.com/us/contact
