200 hp ocean runner power loss

I have a mid '90's 200 hp ocean runner that sometimes looses complete power when planed out and sometimes it works,,,also sometimes it won't even get up on plane....Just had a new trim and tilt pump installed and that is when the problem started ,,,
Any advice as to what it could be?

Still in need of help...I am new to the Evinrude world and I have been reading alot of posts,,,May be the carbs,,that seems to be the majority of everyones problems...Could it be due to the new trim/tilt motor that was put on,,electricaly could it affect the performance?
