Hi, I have a 1981 Mariner 2hp Motor, does anyone know the correct gas/oil ratio per gallon, the numbers on the motor are Mariner 2M Serial 6A1 033042, Thanks
Most, if not all, pre mix engines way back into the 1970's have used 50:1 as the standard mix ratio. That's 1/2 pt of current production 2 cycle outboard oil labeled by the Boating Industry Association (BIA) as TC-W3 to 3 gallons of regular (87 oct.) gas. WM sporting goods carries it in Pennzoil semi syn (which I used) or the higher priced Quicksilver/Mercury label.
