Most marinas that close at 5PM have 24 hour access to the slips. Maybe not to the ramp (though, ramp access at many here in TN is 24 hours), but there's usually a way for you to get on and off. Especially if there are houseboats and cruisers in the slips.

I found this online but this is basically identical in every way to the one I'll be getting.
Nice boat, the one thing i do not like about that style boat is that they take on water over the bow a lot. That is if its rough out on the water. I think these style boats are great for the lakes and rivers. Enjoy and good luck boating.

As far as the bow taking on water over the bow, Demark is correct. However, there should be a snap on cover you can put on there to let most of the water to roll off if you get into a widy/wavey day. Don't ask how I know....

I think this style boat is called a deck boat. Ive seen some on you tube that go to fast and come down on a nice wave will take water over the bow. Make sure those bilge pumps work. Pontoon boats are the same. Not to scare you I am a new boater in a way just have not put the time in on my second boat yet.

This does scare me lol. And a snap on cover to put where? I definitely don't want water coming over the bow and getting in the boat on the regular.

Yes, definitely a 'flat water' boat. Not sure a bow cover will work for a deck boat . . . bow canvas is more of a bowrider thing.

You will be fine, dont expect you to go out in 3 ft seas or when its to windy. Just watch the weather report for the day you plan on heading out and dont overload the boat with people. Lakes and rivers are ok unless you on the great lakes i hear they can be rough. Here is a video first boat is a deck style boat. Watch how the bow of the boat cuts through the water. This is a rough inlet though. Here is the link. Again any boat can take water over the bow! I have seen on these videos 30 ft boats blow out windshields taking water over the bow. So I am not singling out your style boat. Here is another link first boat bigger boat same style. Also it mainly how you drive the boat over the waves.

Thanks for the video and the heads up. I see that boat looks a little lower than mine and it also has a 115 on it. The boat rep at the dealer said me having the Yamaha 150 will help to get the boat up to speed so that the front lifts up more to prevent water coming in the bow?

I don't ever plan on taking the boat out if water is bad like that. Like ever. That would be my worst fear lol. Also I will mainly be riding on the Gulf Coast but not out in the gulf. Just the local area's like Wolf Bay in Orange Beach, AL and Robinson Island. Just short little trips mainly so to speak.

I guess I'll just have to really pay attention to the weather because if what happened in that video is even a threat what so ever, I won't be taking my boat out that day.

After watching those vids now I know why they have directions on shampoo bottles.

What strikes me is that most of those people aren't wearing life vests. Even the ones that are getting swamped and nearly sinking.
That area looks really rough. I'd be sure my passengers are wearing vests.
But, it doesn't surprise me. People like that are why I don't go boating on the weekends.

Boat is good and good looking, launching a new folding canoe reviews Since we have taken the stake for compiling this list, you shouldn’t be concerned about anything other than your needs.
