Hello, I have a question about Props for my 1999 Yamaha Vmax 150. Currently Trimmed up and full throttle it wants to rev all the way to 6000 rpms, which is higher than the 5500 max that the specs say this motor operates at. Right now I have a Yamaha 21" Pro Series Prop, but was thinking of experimenting with a different pitch to bring the RPM's down a bit. I know the next size up in a Pro Series is 23" but was wondering if anyone knows of a 22" prop that is compatible with this motor and is actually a better performing Prop or should I just stay with the Yamaha Props. Anyways! anyone have any experience with different brands of Props that work on this Outboard and what your thoughts were. Thank you
