1999 70 hp johnson need help

My 70 johnson, starts and idles fine. But as soon as i put it gear it wants to stall. It takes a couple of trys but takes off and runs fines. When I turn it off and start it again, it wants to stall when I put it in gear. It idles ok and runs fine until I put it in gear then it bogs out and stalls. It takes a few tries before it will finally take off. Any ideas!!!!

99 % contaminated carbs. link n sinc.

Try running some SeaFoam in your fuel first. Then go from there with carb adjustments

seafoam will not clean a dirty carb, it will keep a clean carb clean.
