Hi. Turning a 1999 johnson 50 hp model j50pleea into a tiller. The swivel bracket has a bolt in the normal steering friction spot. Is all I need to do is install the correct spring and bolt or is there something deeper in there to deal with? I need some way to tighten up the steering friction so any help is appreciated.
