I just purchased a 1999 Ranger with a Johnson 225. Runs beautiful, but to eliminate any future catastophies should I change my vro pump due to the age of the motor or is the one on it more reliable than the older versions
I agree with jonesg. If the system is working properly, you couldn't ask for any better. You may want to mark your oil tank level with a piece of tape just to confirm oil usage if it is not obvious.
