My boat dies after about 20minutes in the water and it won,t restart for a while whats the deal please help. I've changed starter,wires,distribor,starer(ignition)module,battery,rebuild the carb. New impler,new bellows.
Need a little more information, like engine model and serial.
You have not yet determined if you have an electrical/ignition problem or a fuel problem.
My first guess is a restricted fuel tank vent hose, runs long enough to pull a vacuum on the tank then the fuel pump is unable to suck any more fuel. After a while the tank slowly breathes in and you go again for another short time.
Try a small portable outboard tank and see if that cures it. If so then start checking your main tank.
