While troubleshoot a fuel starvation issue I found the metal disc inside the vapor pump all bent up. Went to order new gaskets and the internals but could not find a kit. Also the vapor pump, part number 0433352 shows as no longer available. Are these parts available to rebuild? I found one on ebay but quite expensive for what it is. Is this pump required? What exactly does it do? I plan to replace the VRO pump with a standalone fuel pump and premix but not sure what to do with this.
Thanks in advance!

Saw 4 rebuild kits on a dealer counter a few weeks ago.------Factory kits come with complete instructions.

the vapor pump is very similar to common OMC square pumps widely available and kits are also available

they work by pulse pressure from the crankcase to pump fuel wheres yours pumps out VST vapors & sends them out the carbs or crankcase to be consumed.

the pump innards are basically check valves and diaphragm and the big difference is the off-set pulse port (normally centered) and a rear facing o-ring like port.

if yours is a problem with the faulty diaphragm or valves maybe you can recycle regular pump parts while rebuilding with the metal base and top side.

on the other hand if kits are available...
