I'm all set to look at a 98' GW Fisherman on Saturday. Coems with electronics, a Yamaha 150 4s and looks pretty clean from the pics. problem...Its come to my attention that they used wood in their decks and gunnels up until 1998? And even then they didn't switch right away to composite materials. They went to marine wood, then later slowly introduced composites? Is this correct? After learning this I'm a little concerned with the age of the boat now.
