Run a compression test. Then, decarb the engine using a good decarb cleaner like ValvTect, Quicksilver ,powertune.<br />Run another compression test.<br />If not up to par, you need to find out why (head gaskets, rings,ect. The fuel pump operates of the engine's compression..Also, not enough compression, and the carb can draw enough of the fuel the pump DOES pump. So compression is a biggie in this situation. I hope it's just carbon binding a ring, or plugging the exaust. Good luck.<br />oops.. Just read your third post up...But still,you may want to check this. It may be inhaling, but not exhaling (plugged exaust).<br />It can't hurt to test. Again, good luck.
