Got it! Thanks brother.....Yes, ground the wire connected to the thermo switch and the buzzer should go off.
If not check the wiring and buzzer are okey.
To check the switch you have to heat it up.
ebay Canada has the Fram.....they also have the Fram knockoff brand GKI.....Have been using the GKI for a while, no problems.....you can get multi packs of them pretty cheap.
It says they are for small engines....lawn mowers, small tractors, generators, etc. Hard to tell by the pics but they look pretty small.....last thing you want is a filter that would cause a fuel restriction. You have a 120HP that sucks a lot of fuel.....I posted some pics of the GKI filter (same size as the G2 pretty much) to compare with. None of these are specific to any motor, very universal.Still can't find these for a decent price. Most are $10 + $20 shipping to Canada.
Would these work?
I'm not sure how specific these in-line filters have to be.

It depends on what your fuel hose size is....
GKI GF61PL is for 5/16, GKI GF69PL is 3/8, GKI GF68PL is 1/4
Fram G2 is for 5/16, G3 is for 3/8......what size fuel hose do you have?
Sounds like you got 5/16 fuel hose then.....Parts Manual recommends part #35-816296 which is a 5/16 Filter.
Just go to a boat shop.----Use a filter off a 115 HP Johnson / Evinrude.----Your location ?
Sounds like you got 5/16 fuel hose then.....
Did you see the posts above about the thermo switch? You could try grounding the wire coming off the switch to see if you have a working buzzer or not. If not, I would fix that.....is the only warning you will get for an over heat, unless you have a temp gauge or a warning light.
Reread post#8.....do another compression test, spark test. Did you put in a new pump diaphragm? If the fuel hoses are old I would replace them, along with the primer bulb.....make sure the fuel vent on the permanent tank is not clogged up....insects and mud daubers can plug them up. Carbs cleaned lately?
