If it's not electric start probably not unless someone has installed as a accessory, you can check by tracing the wires which come from under the flywheel if there are 2 yellow it at lest has alternator.
Yea my motor is electric start and has two yellow wires! i was just wondering because i didnt want to get another battery for my jon boat! if mine does die, i still have the ability to pull start my engine..
