1996 gs205 fly wheel

Just got news 1996 gs205 glastron needs fly wheel. The fly wheel has 4 teeth chewed up. How does this happen? Well break out another thousand. BOAT

Ayuh,...... Ya pull the motor, 'n replace the Ring Gear, not the whole flywheel,.....

a new ring gear is about $15.

to answer your question "how does it happen?" poor maintenance on the battery cables usually leads to the starter milling out 4 teeth vs turning the motor

Its sucks. Its expensive. I cannot do this work myself. They Said $100 for parts and then labor after that. Thank you for the reply.
