1996 Force 120. Wont start

I rebuilt engine all electrical new, stator, trigger, regulator,hi rev module, 4 CDM's
Wire harness at motor, spark plugs,.
Rebuilt carbs, new reeds, new battery & cables. First time after installed and rebuilt it ran about 30 seconds. After al new electrical components it started right up and ran for about 3-4 minutes then stopped. Now it wont start i hooked up 2 batteries, 1800 cca. Turns over now but wont fire. Now in service manual it does not specify possion of stator and trigger, could these be in the wrong position? I will take any help i can get.

I also failed to say that i have new starter,& solenoid. I also hooked up axillary fuel tank in the event onboard fuel tank was plugged. Also new fuel. Could too much fuel prevent starting?

Sorry to ask..but are you starting with the water on from a hose ? Or in water ? Or with no water ?
