1996 Evinrude 60hp rebuild questions

VRO issues and lost the center cylinder. What to rebuild the engine but have questions on tuning afterwards. If I have to bore the engine out .020 or .030, how much if any carb adjustments are required so the engine doesn't run lean? Does anyone know the right fuel pump off hand to replace the VRO fuel pump with a standard fuel pump for I won't be going back to the VRO system? Lastly a recommendation on a rebuild manual for a 1996 Evinrude? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

The VRO probably did not cause your issue there is a service bulletin on that motor for cooling the middle cylinder. For a Rebuild Manual i would recommend the factory manual. You usually do not have to re-jet for a rebuild. You can use the fuel pump off of a early 80s 3 cylinder motor or the later 80s commercial models. I would also address the service bulletin if it hasn't been done already.

Got water in the bottom of my VRO tank. Didn't catch it and bad things happen. Your the second person to mention the service bulletin on the cooling. I will look this up. Thank you for the reply.
