1996 Evinrude 115 model number lookup.

I have a 1996, as told to me, 115hp 60 degree engine with no model identification tag. I have only a serial #. Went to a dealer and they couldn't help.
Serial # G-4022472. does anyone know how to get model number for ordering parts?
I also have a G-4160977 spare motor that i think is compatible. Is there any way for me to look up these engines, Thanks.

Post pictures of motors and cowlings.----What parts are you looking for?----Many parts are common for all years of production.---Why would a dealer not help you.

Not sure why the dealer couldn’t find the model # by using the serial number.
He said nothing came up when entering it into the system.
I was just wondering what the exact model is so if need to look up parts .

I believe it’s a 1995 because it has the red plug under the hood.

BRP purged the computers so a lot of serial numbers before 2010 disappeared
