95 Mercury 60 Hp serial # OG266994. Boat sat for the last 3 years with occasional start ups.
Prepping it for sale and no spark at all 3 cylinders. Found the Voltage regulator melted, replaced it. Still no fire.
Diagnosed the stator after checking kill switch etc. Took it to my boat shop to confirm my diagnosis ( I don't have the correct meter), they confirmed my output number and steered me to part # 398-832074A4. (red stator).
I got the replacement stator and have a new problem. The wiring is different than my switch. I have the 2 yellow wires, a red wire, a blue wire and the black ground wire. Color for color match to the factory stator (part#398-9710A23 - Black stator).
I searched and see some info regarding an adapter. Anyone know if i need the adapter or did i get the wrong part #?

Anyone have any ideas on how to wire the new stator? The Green / White and White/ Green wires along with the blue / white wire have me stumped. They dont match anything coming from my switch. I cant locate any adapter by part#. The new guy could use some help.
