I pulled the prop on my recently acquired Force 120, and it looks like it has the wrong thrust washer. The washer (P/N 75282) was contacting the outer rim of the prop, not the inner recessed metal mating surface, leaving an empty cavity about 3/8 thick which was mostly filled with salt, and the prop is set back on the shaft about 3/8" farther than it should. I've checked the parts diagram on Crowley, and it calls for P/N 13191 for the thrust washer on this motor, which cross references to Sierra 18-4221. I ordered one of these, but it is also too big in diameter to fit, more or less identical to the one above. The diameter of the recessed surface of my prop is 2 1/4". The two thrust washers above are 2 7/16 in diameter. The tapered center hole is 1" I.D. I've checked the Solas Prop Finder site, and the prop (1411-133-17) is the correct one for my year and serial number motor. Further research has shown me that there is another thrust washer referenced for 1995 Force 120 which is: 18-4220 which has a stepped outer edge and cross references to 77987A1, and 13171 but comments on Amazon say this one is also too big in diameter.
Has anyone had experience with this situation? I can provide a sketch if this is not clear.
I would really like to get the right part on this motor and run it, but this has me stumped.
