1995 bass cat with 150 mariner trim problem

I have a 150 fuel injected Mariner and sometimes when I'm running across the lake and hit the trim up it will kill the engine and as soon as i let the button off the engine will pick back up just like a short but i have traced all wires and have not found a short yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check all you grounds on midsection and at battery. If wire oks hook up to another battery and see if it happens. You could have a battery going bad.
