Personally I’m a fan of the venerable Quadrajet, we had one on a ‘75 Olds 350 and owned that car about 11 years never had to do a thing to it, ran far better than our ‘72 Chevy 350 with the Rochester 2bbl. I’ve had one in the boat, for 20 years, rebuilt it a few times ran better each time..
