Before I ran it I replaced the thermostat and impeller and it’s got lots of cool water coming out the pee hole.
No signs of overheating on the head.
I ran it for the third time yesterday. Went about 30miles. It pushes the boat nicely so I’m cruising between 3000-4000rpm. 20to30mph. Wot is about 40mph
So I’m not running it hard. I want to run it in a gas saving rpm range anyway.
It’s a fishing boat so hopefully taking it easy will help keep boat and engine in good shape.
