I have a 1994 honda 15hp. When the motor is warm, it does not want to start. If I let it cool down for 10min. it starts fine. This seems like an electronic failure to me. Has anyone had a simular problem?
I'll run it tomorrow. I'll pay attention to the primmer bulb. I just seems like the motor being warm when it wont start is the sympton of an electronic component starting to fail. I have had automotive coils do that. I also had a early model honda 7.5hp. I know that the coils on them were a common problem.
I lake tested the motor on tuesday and it seemed to run fine. On tuesday I took it to canada fishing. thursday morning it refused to start. No spark. do you know how to test the coil?
