I just got a 1994 115 johnson. I took it out for the first time and the oil alarm went off as I was returning to the ramp. The motor is not direct oil injection so why would the oil alarm even be connected? I am mixing 50/1 oil and I am pretty sure this is not a temp alarm because the sound is intermitent. Is there an easy way to tell if the alarm is just shorting out or if i'm really not getting enough oil to the motor. Thanks
