Hello and Thanks for reading this post. I have a 1993 OMC 150 hp V6 Model #J150GLETG. I have owned the Motor for 5 years now and has never given me any problems until now. The last 3 times (this week) I have taken the boat out it starts up fine in the morning. As the day progresses with a hour or 2 on the engine, it becomes difficult to start and then it will not start at all. Engine turns over but will not fire. I have installed new plugs and battery. I have done lots of research on the problem and am thinking it is electrical related. Thinking it could be a bad coil, power pack, stator, ignition sensor, or rectifier.

I am really not boat motor literate, but have decent mechanic abilities.

ANy suggestions are greatly appreciated--Scott

I think you need the factory manual, it has all the procedures and specs to trouble shoot your engine.
