1993 Mercury Clockwise Vs Counterclockwise

Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but could I replace a clockwise rotating 135 V6 OB with counterclockwise one? Obviously the prop would be different..

Sure you could. Just remember that the reason the helm is on the right side of the boat is to compensate for prop torque. Low performance, center console, heavy passenger, all would nullify that.
