I have a 1993 Mercury 200 xri on a 1993 Gambler bass boat that has run beautiful for the three years I have owned it until recently. The motor idles perfect and runs below 3000 rpms perfect, unless I hit the hot foot then it will stall, die out, or start skipping. I have changed all the filters, the hose leading into the motor from the tank, checked the fuel (no water), and it still will not go. I question whether this is may be the stator, coils, or are the fuel injectors dirty? Any thoughts please let me know. I'm at wits end being on vacation
