I was curious if I go from a 1.78:1 lower unit to a 1.87:1 lower unit will the drive shaft work in my motor.my 1.78 lower cracked.so I need a new lower unit.

for me.. way to many variables ta recommend what MIGHT or MIGHT not work ona computer!.. boat type?.. offset?.. motor height?.. load?.. max rpm?.. etc.
