On this boat someone has addressed this before or so it seems that it's not original. The access door is a carpeted on all but the bottom laminated side. It's a laminated piece of plywood on two sides, approximately 1/2" thick X 43 X 12. It sits in a metal aluminum frame that doesn't seem to be secured. The screws come up from underneath and screw into the door in about 16 places. The carpet is not important as it looks like all the glue is coming loose on the whole boat.
What would be the best way to address this access door? Options that are lower cost, practical and long term preferred. I have pictures but still working on figuring out the upload thing. If you need I can email them.
