Well, The boat may wander a little at low speeds. Especially if there is wind. Is there play in the drive? The drive will move excessively without moving the steering wheel?
If you have the right prop, you can see where your WOT is. I think 4300-4600 is the right range.
Filters: Oil Filter and water seperator filter. Both are physically similar.
Are you talking about trim tabs or outdrive tilt and trim?
To check the Water pump in the stern drive, separate the lower unit from the upper unit and there it is. It must be put in with the blades on the impeller bent in the same direction.
I would suggest you at least buy a seloc manual or clymers. I have both and always consult both manuals before trying anything. The best thing would be a factory service manual. I've found the aftermarket manuals to be fine for anything I would attempt. I leave the tough stuff to the professionals.
