1990 Ranger 364V speedometer

MY speedo doesn't work and I don't know where the speedo pitot is on the motor. Lil' help here?
I've got a 1991 175 Johnson V6.

hi.....welcome to iboats.

chances are that the speedo is a pitot type....it hangs off the back of the hull. there will be a rubber air line from your transom to the helm.......follow it.

you are correct "oops". My pitot tube was broken off. I installed a new hose/tube on my speedo and blew into it and my speedo guage didn't budge. I'm assuming my guage is bad. I'll need a replacement. Thanks again, I had been looking for the pitot on my engine lower unit.
