1990 force 90 hp trim pump kit?

I recently got a 1990 Bayliner Capri 18' with a Force 90 HP outboard. Having a issue with my Trim pump unit. I know i have a valve body issue. My problem is that all the research i have done i can't find the style pump the same as mine. All the pumps i have seen has 3 lines on the side of it and one on the bottom. also the shaft that connects to the electric motor is slotted like a flathead screwdriver. Mine has all 4 lines on the bottom of the unit and my shaft to the motor is a small hex shaped shaft. now my pump has not enough power to lift the outdrive but it does have pressure when trimming down all the way. (you can see the outboard and hear the pump difference when you bottom it out all the way. I am pretty sure i am having a stuck valve in the up portion of it. It also bleeds down when i get it up with help but when it's down all the way it holds pressure and the engine will not kick up when in reverse. Now the reason for my post. I am unable to find a seal kit for my unit. I can't even find a picture of my unit online anywhere. Below are pics of my engine serial number, the bottom of my valve body and the valve body cracked open. i am getting ready to try to swap my lines over to reverse them so i can get it to tilt up and not worried about reverse too much now due to the fact that before i spend real money on this boat, to see if it's worth it. i need to get it on the water to see how it runs. Any info on where i can find a seal kit for it would really help me. Thank you for reading my post. ADDON TO POST. The far right pic is what comes up for my unit but my valce body is round and has different key to drive pump as i mentioned before. also this unit is the one with 3 line on side and 1 at the bottom.

The FIRST thing: there is NOTHING inside the pump that you can fix "nothing" the thing that goes bad in those pumps is the seals in the very bottom.
You happen to read the 2nd through the 5th posts in this forum?
They're the best reading here in the Force Forum.
They contain lots of tip and tricks for your Force outboard.
The 4th one by Don(rip) contains some GREAT help by a few of the regular posters, it even has pics dealing with your unit.
The following link will lead to just about every T@T unit Force/ Chrysler used.

First thank you for your reply. I understand that there isn't much that could go with a gear driven pump. aside from gear surface area damaged due to lack of oil and stuff. how you mentioned the seals go bad. And that is why i made this post. To find the proper seal kit. the one that i am suspecting that is bad or worn would be the one where the check ball goes. i assume one is for up and the other for the down. that would explain why i have pressure one way and not the other. i will check that link again but i looked through them and i didn't see a seal kit or a diagram to confirm that it wasn't taken apart before me and put back incorrectly and i would have put it back together the wrong way also.

I thought someone had put a link to the repair kit that fixes the shuttle valve.
ANYONE know the part # or where to buy the tiny little seals?
I know Granger sells them.
If you can't get them I might have a couple in my spare parts bin.

Its in the stickie by pnwboat....he used Briggs Stratton kit #398188. I have some that I didn't use....ended up buying a rebuilt pump. PM me if you need some.

There you go, problem solved.
One hint be EXTREMELY careful when taking the valves apart,
I've never found anyplace that sells any of the parts except the seal.

I started out real careful, went down hill from there.....lol. Got a 10 pack of those o-rings, more than I will ever use, and it only takes 2 for the repair. If ANYBODY needs a couple, let me know. (y)

I found buying the new pump the best option.
BUT!!! be careful where you buy??? The real cheapo's can and usually fail right out of the box.

Franz marine had one rebuilt pump left.....it was rebuilt by rRhitt (RIP). Not cheap for sure, but works perfectly.

lol, I bought them also but have not found the courage to change them

Once I had rendered the valves unusable, put them in a vise and used vice grips to try to take them apart.......never did get the caps off.....literally broke in half, totally destroyed! Lol. :ROFLMAO:
