Anyone know what kinda speed I can expect to achieve with a merc blackmax xr4?

Most 150's on bass boats will run 55 +/- when properly set up. Are you buying a boat? Water test it for at least 20-30 minutes.

Thanks for the reply, there is a guy that says his was running 78 with a high 5 ss prop.......seemed outlandish but as a tournament fisherman......i was intrigued with hope!!!! Just bought the boat for a steal, needs a little work but i feel very worth the investment

78 is way too optimistic and I would love to see GPS numbers on that
