1990 85 Force

Anyone out there know the weight of a 1990 Force 85 outboard? My neighbor has one for sale cheap and I may buy it for a project.

The weight is in the range of 260-290lbs depending on whether it has trim/tilt or not.
I'm not completely sure, but if its an 85hp model that may make it a mid-late 80's rather than a 1990 which is when they went to a 90hp series.

Thanks, I'm not sure of the year but that seems a little heavy. It doesn't have tilt & trim but it runs good. I'm thinking about trying it on my 15 ft tri-hull to compare to my 50 evinrude.
