On top of my carburetor there is a hose connector **** that is L shaped, that is i guess pressure fit into the top of the carburetor. If im correct its called a Pulse Equalization hose connector.
My question is this.
What does this hose do, or its purpose ?
Also the L connector has come loose from the top of the carburetor. I can push it back in but not sure if it is going to stay in. While running, my motor started idling to low and had hard time running. I found it to be off. I pushed it back in.
My question about this is.
Can I put a small amount of JB Weld on it to insure it stays seated and wont come disconnected again?
I know not to get any into the hole.
Or should i maybe solder it or something?
Also i idled my motor up a hair when i got home and it seems to be running fine now.
But do want to know how to insure my L connector wont come out again.
Thanks for your help
