How do things look towards the stern of the boat? That is usually where the trouble starts and then it works its way forward to the cabin.

The boat is in great shape, it had a window leak so the carpet was wet and dirty and smelly, so i decided to rip it out,the floor was all rough fiberglass and i wanted a vinyl floor so i had to make a new sub floor to even it all out.
The head wall rotted because there was a leek where the step drain goes into the head and joins the sink drain then they both go out the starboard side, and the cabin bilge pump was disconnected, i wired it up and it runs again.

Nice attention to detail. I like that door porthole, you make that from scratch?

Thank you, the door with the porthole was the original head door that had rotted, the new one will have a chrome porthole mirror.

Mock up.jpg
The floor is all in, im not fiber-glassing it because in putting a vinyl floor down and the adhesive will not work on fiberglass this is a mock up of how the stripes in the teak and holly floor will be oriented, the steps will have the vinyl on the tops and the front faces will be stained the same as the head wall.

I need to figure out the table mount, im going with a surface mounted floor piece, since im using padding under the floor vinyl, im concerned that when i attach it the floor around the mount will be pulled down and may distort the lines, Any thought?

mark around the base, cut out vinyl, install table and caulk around the base?

Thanks guys Im thinking or cutting the padding and putting a spacer in there and leaving the vinyl uncut, like this
