Hey guy's you gave me a lot of good information on my last post, soooo I'm back again. If only I had the manual! I'm looking on Amazon and Ebay for the manual.
This is an older motor and I don't know how many hours it has. Can anyone tell me what is the recommended Marine oil for this Mercury 200 gas/oil mix motor? Also, can you add carb cleaner to this mix?

You can use any TCW-III 2 cycle oil. Some have found that Seafoam mixed into the fuel helps clean up the carbs a bit. I would not expect miracles.

Make sure the overheat alarm works. Rebuild the waterpump with a new impeller, wearplate and 2 gaskets. If the pump cover SS liner is scratched, replace that also. Ditto if the waterpump base is melted or deformed.

A water pressure gauge is a real good idea, IMO.
