My buddy just got a 1989 Kingfisher Fish & Ski boat it needed some love to get it back right. We noticed that alot of the wiring on the bow switches and drivers panel had been tampered with and rewired. We are wanting to wire everything back to stock and I am trying to find a wiring schematic for the boat does anyone have or or know where to find one at any help would be great......

Welcome to iboats!

Boat wiring is pretty generic, and there are stickies at the top of this forum area that should get you started.

Getting back to stock is going to be tough since most boat manufacturers didn't publish wiring diagrams. They just strung wire. In some cases entire instrument panels were out sourced so unless you knew who did that work, only they would have a diagram for that panel. As was mentioned, no need to go back original. Just get things working properly using the stickies at the top of the page. Electricity doesn't care if it connects to the tach first or the fuel gauge first. If an item needs 12 volts and ground -- give it some.

hehehe.. yep... that's the way I've done it bunches of times on these old junk boats I've got. Corroded terminals get lots of old boat harnesses torn into and new harnesses sometimes cost more than old boats are worth.
