I just recently purchased a 89 johnson 100 sea horse f a decent amount of money. I am currently looking for the right boat to out it on and i think i found one which i plan on buying. Its a early 90s 17 foot bayliner capri. it has a 85 force on which has bad compression so i would like to put the johnson on it. does anyone have any advice on this motor i cant find much information about it on the internet? would this be a good set up? also what could be some possibilities that there is oil leaking onto the prop coming from where it meets the lower unit as well as one of the small hole under the front of the lower unit. maybe fogging oil or unused gas/oil mixture? itsonly been started once since the guy i bought it from fogged it but i noticed a little oil on the prop when i went to buy it but i forgot to ask him about it
