I've used a 2 ton press like this.
Took everything I had to get it done though. I used the Wiesco forged pistons as a replacement which use "floating" wrist pins and keepers. Pins go in with just finger pressure with circlips to keep the pins in place.
If your using "pressed pin" replacement pistons, there's a special wrist pin bearing spacer tool to keep from damaging the wrist pin bearings or getting them bound up.
