Im new to the boating world and to this forum so take it easy on me. I have a 1989 225HP XP Evinrude that I just bought with a 20' Hydra Sorts Vector. I rebuilt the carbs and I think I may have not put the low and mid range jets back in the wrong holes. When I started the motor it idles at 2000 RPM. The jets were a #14 and a #48 I think. I know one was a 14. Anyway. A little help here would be great. If I swaped these when rebuilding the carbs would it make the motor run this way?
